John’s Gem – High Altitude Wine Tasting

Beau Constantia wine estate has the highest altitude vineyards in the Constantia Valley. As the pics show, the winery, although an architectural masterpiece, is itself not photogenic. But it has the finest views in the entire valley.

To the certain delight of wine maker Justin van Wyk, most of the wines have sold out. But those that are available are full bodied and well structured, with excellent fruit on both nose and palate.
